The Amazing Thief of Panties

TRAÇOILC.png

A detective story based on the style of Film Noir, characterized by 'B' movies from the 1940s and 1950s, where a lack of morals and crime are the most prominent themes.

Detective Bill Flecha’s office is visited by Miss Velda, a "femme fatale" whose "intimate garment" has been stolen, and she is willing to pay any amount to get it back. What initially seemed like a trivial crime leads to a series of violent incidents, and everyone is a suspect until proven otherwise, or until their bodies are found in some dark alley.

Inspired by the life and works of Dashiell Hammett, considered the father of modern detective literature, the show employs a little-known puppet construction technique in Brazil, based on models developed by Hansjürgen Fettig in his book *Rod-Puppets & Table-Top Puppets (Standing Figures)*. The set design draws inspiration from German Expressionism, an artistic movement that contributed to the emergence of Film Noir.
